DREW FISH GIVES BACK, TAKES PART IN FIFTH ANNUAL MUSICIANS AT RED KETTLES CAMPAIGN AT THE DOMAIN IN AUSTIN

Over the weekend, Drew Fish participated in the fifth annual Musicians at Red Kettles Campaign at The Domain in Austin, TX. This marks Fish’s fifth time to perform alongside The Salvation Army of Austin’s Red Kettles to help raise money and awareness for the cause. All monies raised during this campaign stay local and help those who need it the most in Central Texas.

“Too many people get caught up with the hustle and bustle of the holiday season and forget what it is all about, “ says Fish. “Christmas is about giving and The Salvation Army makes it easy for people to give back to those in need.”

This year’s campaign features Texas Country favorite Cory Morrow as the face of the “Rock The Red Kettle Campaign” and featured a celebrity golf tournament and kick-off concert that featured Stoney Larue, Randy Rogers, Wade Bowen, Walt Wilkins, and Drew Womack. Last year, the campaign raised $460,000. Fore more information, check out http://rocktheredkettleatx.org.

This marks the end of a stellar year for Fish. The Drew Fish Band made their national television debut last month on Fox and the NFL Network ahead of the highly anticipated Thursday Night Football game between the Dallas Cowboys and New Orleans Saints. Click here to check out the Austin-based band’s impressive appearance, which includes a performance of a reworked version of their new song “Lone Star Saturday Night” from their forthcoming debut full-length album (slated for release in 2019).

In other news, the band’s video for their current feel-good single ‘Better Place’ is out now. Produced by multiple Grammy-Award winner Adam Odor, the track was co-written with Fish by one of country music’s most celebrated hit makers, Byron Hill (“Fool Hearted Memory” by George Strait, “Born Country” by Alabama, “High-Tech Redneck” by George Jones). The track also features Cody Braun (Reckless Kelly) on electric mandolin; Nate Coon (Aaron Watson) on percussion; Michael Tarabay (formerly with Pat Green) on bass and Paul Eason (Kevin Fowler) on guitar. Watch and share the new video here.
