Wishful Drinkin’ is the third record release for Fish, who has built a loyal following for his good-time, traditional honky-tonk sound. “This new record shows more diversity in the band than any of our previous records,” Fish said. “We recorded our first waltz and duet called “Every Damn Time” and included an Outlaw Country-sounding ode to Willie Nelson called “High Rollin’ Home” that I wrote with Curtis Grimes and Rick Garoutte.” The complete album, Wishful Drinkin,’ is set for release on February 7. Fish’s third album was produced by five-time Grammy award winner Adam Odor (known for his work with the Dixie Chicks, Pat Green and the Randy Rogers Band). Fish co-wrote many of the songs on Wishful Drinkin’ with hit songwriters Tommy Connors (“The Last Ten Years (Superman)” by Kenny Rogers; “Last Of A Dying Breed” by Neil McCoy); Roger Brown (“Adobe Walls” by Gary Allan; “We Must Be Loving Right” by George Strait and Barbara Streisand,) and Nashville Songwriters’ Hall of Fame member Byron Hill (“Fool Hearted Memory by George Strait; “Nothin’ On But The Radio” by Gary Allan). “I’ve been so incredibly fortunate to get the opportunity to work with the people that we had on this record,” Fish said. “From the songwriters, to the musicians, to the production team, to the photographers, we had an all-star team that made an incredible product and we can’t wait for people to hear it.” For more information, a review copy of Wishful Drinkin,’ to schedule an interview or hi-res art, please contact Lance Cowan • LCMedia (615) 210-1478 or [email protected] https://www.lancecowanmedia.com/ |
