AUSTIN, TEXAS — Country Singer Drew Fish has created Neon Mondays, broadcasting on Instagram on Mondays at 6:30 p.m. The live interview / guitar pull format features Fish visiting and trading songs with his guests. Next Monday (April 13) he will host Texas singer / songwriter Robynn Shayne.
“I decided to start Neon Mondays to have a different take on live streams than what most artists are doing,” Fish says. “It gives me a chance to introduce my friend’s music to my fans and for the fans to get to learn a little more about the artists than just hearing the songs. I’ve already had two of my close friends Wynn Williams and Matt Castillo on the series and I’m looking forward to Robynn Shayne joining me this week.”
Influenced by the likes of Dolly Parton, Merle Haggard, Jessi Colter and Waylon Jennings, Shayne is a favorite in her adopted hometown of Austin, Texas, playing shows with artists like Pat Green, Gary P. Nunn, Walt Wilkins and Cory Morrow, among others. Her latest record, Coffee Days and Whiskey Nights was nominated for the TCMA Country Album of the Year in 2018. Her 4th album, Let’s Get This Show on the Road, is set for release later this spring.
Fish’s own single, “Every Damn Time,” a duet with Country Star Pam Tillis, is quickly climbing the Texas Regional Charts. The song is included on his new album Wishful Drinkin’, along with previous singles “Devil You Know” (which spent 12 weeks at #5) and “Better Place” (when went to #1).
“This honky tonk, true twang country album is about nights on the bar, falling in love, and has an all-around positive energy anyone can appreciate!”
