Devil You Know Wraps Up 2019 as 8th Most Played Song Of The Year

AUSTIN, TEXAS – Country artist Drew Fish ended 2019 with the 8th most played song of the year on Billboard’s Texas Regional Radio Report.

“I was very happy that we were able to keep the song in the top 10 and even top 5 for so long,” says Fish, “I had no idea that we were going to be the 8th most played song of the entire year!”

Devil You Know, along with the band’s last radio single, Better Place, are off of the band’s upcoming record. Fish’s new release, Wishful Drinkin’, is slated for release on February 7, 2020. His third album was recorded and produced by five-time Grammy award winner, Adam Odor (known for his work with the Dixie Chicks, Pat Green and the Randy Rogers Band). Fish co-wrote all of the songs on the new record and found his way leaning toward a more traditional honky-tonk sound.

In 2019, his single, “Better Place,” topped the regional radio charts, while the video garnered more than 200,000 views on YouTube. In all, his music videos have amassed more than two million views. His previous single, “Flood,” also topped the charts. Starting 2020, his “Devil You Know” single spent twelve weeks at the #5 spot.

“I feel very fortunate to have people like my music enough to play it on the radio. There is a lot of great music out there and only limited time on air,” says Fish.

The band’s next radio single is scheduled to be released on January 20th and will be off of the upcoming Wishful Drinkin’ record that will be available everywhere on February 7th.
